I’ve been a fan of contemporary artist Andrea Zittel for quite some time. She created an inhabitable floating island to be an installation piece at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, accessible by rowboat, and lived in by an art student. In this video Zittel describes the ideal resident of this fiberglass structure as a hermit-slash-park ranger. Sign me up!

Now the whole concept of this floating hut is just really, really cool/clever. Very cozy looking, and I love its “deck” area as well….
This structure looks amazing.
Is there a hot tub of any kind? I’d only do it if it has a hot-tub. And it should be bigger, lots bigger: HUGE, and with an automated electric motor-guidance system that slowly places it all over whatever body of water it is on. And it has to be COMPLETELY GREEN ENERGY-BASED, solar-powered, etc.
