The First RV?

Post image for The First RV?

My sources tell me that the Flordellen was the first ever RV. It was commissioned and named by Chicago-born Leonard S. Whittier of Elmira, NY. Measuring over 30 feet in length, it had electric lighting, heat and refrigeration, oven, stove, bathroom… all the luxuries of a modern home of the 30s… built on a van chassis in 1927? Wow.
