This pic of yours, which I first saw in Lloyd Kahns ‘Homework’ I think, is one of my favourite pics ever. Something about it is so right, timeless, joyful and inspirational. What a wagon, lovely dog and gal! Every time I look at it I want to give everything up and build one of my own.

Wow… how cool is it that Pam has seen this. I just read the the review link of this book & was not surprised at all at the fact it is a bit of a cult collectors item. I happened to acquire a hard back copy about 22 years ago & have always hidden it from my friends…. strictly protective over-view heh heh.
I have ‘Liked’ your Facebook page.
My real love has got to be subterranean homes.
P.s. Pams is one of my favourites in the book.

I have this book as well as other rare and out-of -print books in my personal library such as “Roll Your Own” copyright 1974 by Jodi Pallidini. I have met several folks whose homes are mentioned in the Rolling Homes book, in my travels. I lived in a cabin on the back of my truck for one year, then in a converted 1965 GMC step-van for two years, and then to a 1956 White converted school bus for ten years. I traveled the blue highways of America with the destination, “No where special in mind”.

I’m pretty sure I have that book Rolling Homes. Very inspirational stuff.
I also have a van with solar panels on the roof that is very livable and recently added a solar powered cabin that is a grand total 10 ft x 10 ft including the 4 ft x 10 ft porch. I love me some tiny places

LOVE THE TRUCK HOMES.I HAVE AN OLD 1945 GMC TRUCK FLATBED WHICH IM BEING INSPIRATED BY THESE DARN PHOTOS TO CONVERT INTO A ROLLING HOME THAT WE CAN ONE DAY USE TO TRAVEL OUR COUNTRY SOUTH AFRICA.SHOULD ANYONE HAVE ANY COOL IMAGES PASS THEM ON AND I WILL RETURN WHAT IVE COLLECTED.
