This tiny backyard garden shed was structurally designed to handle the weight of it’s massive green roof. A grid system (112 sq. ft.) holds the soil in with a 3/4 inch space underneath for water drainage. It was built in 2005 in Raleigh, North Carolina. The plants include species of Delosperma, Sedum, Talinum, Euphorbia, and Sempervium. I have no familiarity with those names but check out greenroofs.com and livingroofsinc.com for tons of green roof info. Via Lloyd.
