The Nest is a rental campsite at Treebones Resort in Big Sur, California. The dome-like woven wood structure, accessible by a homemade ladder, faces the Pacific Ocean and rents out for $95/night. Created & built by Jayson Fann.

I just flew over Big Sur. It is definitely a beautiful place to stay. The nests are very creative and can give “cityfolk” a way to get back to nature. I feel so fortunate to live in my float cabin on the lake where I can get away from it all almost every day of the year. I know how important that is! – Margy
