Earth Day is buzzing this year perhaps more than any other year — with fervor for our planet. Let’s do something positive with that energy. I think we’re ready for it, collectively.
Instead of following the news these days I get a lot of my information from Twitter. I thought I’d share some of my recent “tweets” about things that left me uplifted and inspired. (@thistinyhouse)

And for a little perspective:

If you’re not already, you can follow me on Twitter to keep up with my micro-news stream. If I had to describe it in 140 characters or less, I’d say it’s the new media of the people. And I just did.

Great post! Twitter is such a great way to keep up on the news, whether it’s good or bad. For me, it’s an excellent medium to follow folks who are talking about good news and inspiring projects. Keep up your tweeting – I always love reading your micro-news stream.
I’m glad you included Brian’s story about the tech-free coffeeshop. The owner is a very cool lady. I’m going to be making a return visit soon.
