Hi Amy, There is no one behind the curtain. I set up the Tiny House Village Network as an online community for discussion about developing real communities. The rest is up to you. There are a number of logistical issues like housing code, zoning, etc. that are discussed in the THV forums.

Who is this man (or woman) behind the curtain? I joined Tiny House Village but I like this forum better.

I’m interested in getting involved with a tiny house village like the one above in Portland. Is this really happening? What about codes and restrictions?

What do you do if your spouse refuses to live in a Small house?

Thoreau said, “I have learned, that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.”

But what do you do if you’ve married someone for life who consistently gets in the way of your dreams?

I’ve asked the question to several small house enthusiasts, and most say you have to compromise. But a 1200 square foot house it not my dream.

Any help?

Ironically, there are often strict regulations to prevent people from living or even spending the night in the Swedish garden “houses”.
