How to tow a tiny house – Step One
Thanks to Michael’s hard work a hitch has been installed on my car. We just had to cut some plastic and drill 2 holes in the metal frame and voila! (Actually it was slightly more complicated than that and I wish I could show you the dirt on Michael’s face when all was done.)
The hitch ($117.45 total) has a max weight of 2000 lbs but I’m hoping my Compact Jr. trailer will remain under 1000 lbs. Actually my arbitrary personal goal is to keep it under 900 lbs. We have a little bet going on about whose car will get better gas mileage while towing it…. I’ll report more when it’s time to take off…
