Hi Cliff --
We used 1/2" ply. We're two small people. This might not work for a heavier person, but it seems to be okay for us. We also bolted it into the frame (as before) and placed some shims underneath in between the frame and the ply so it's pretty tight. I hope you'll be able to make it to the meetup next week so you can see for yourself.

Hello,

Reading your blog on the Compact renovation. Will you please tell me what thickness plywood you used for the floor? I blogged 1/2" was used originally. My Compact had 3/4" floor. Did you go with 1/2", or 3/4" floor update? If you used 1/2", can you comment on how it holds up structurally?

Thank you,
Cliff , Long Beach, CA
